Happenings:
Bowling
for Kids Sake was Saturday,
April 5th at the Brattleboro Bowl.
The Dummerston Bowling Team raised over $500.00 towards the Big
Brother/Big Sisters’ Program. We’d like
to thank our sponsors and recognize Mary Goodemote for her bowling
prowess.
I’m pleased to
report that Dummerston School met its Annual Yearly Progress in
both Reading and Math this year.
Last week the
state met with us to evaluate our Food Service Program. They were very complimentary about our
program. I’ve enclosed copies of our
self assessment and targeted goals for the program. The state will send a detailed evaluation that I will share with
you when it arrives.
I’ve also
enclosed two summaries from Grade 3 about their recent field trips to Horton
Hears a Who at the Kipling Theatre (March 18th) and with Grade 5
to the Boston Museum of Science on April 9th.
